About Sarah:

I am the Practice Manager for Apex Healthcare Partners. I have been working with Dr. Smith since 2015. In addition to managing our amazing team, I also enjoy being hands-on in clinic. For Dr. Smith’s patients, I will be your point of contact when deciding to move forward with surgery. From the pre-operative period to post-operatively, I will be with you every step of the way, making sure we have everything in place for surgery, post-operative care, and anything you will need along the way. I take pride in my work and love my patients! I promise to always do everything I can to give you the best care possible. In my down time, I also enjoy spending time with my two beautiful children and my very special fur baby.

Director of Business & Operations

About Naishea:

I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years before joining the team at Apex Healthcare Partners. While I specialize in clinical patient care, I also take care of surgery insurance authorizations and oversee billing and collecting. I am here to answer any questions you may have regarding pre-auths, coding, denials, and appeals and put great effort in staying on top of insurance relations. I enjoy serving others and take great pride in serving the medical needs of the greater Oklahoma City and Edmond communities. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 14 years, and we have five beautiful children and five grandbabies. My family means the world to me, and I love spending time with them!

About Shannon:

I was born and raised in Edmond and have only lived away from the metro when I got my BFA from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Before joining Apex Healthcare Partners in 2022, I owned and operated a small business in Edmond and OKC for ten years. I am very passionate about serving our community. Now, at Apex, I am in charge of the personal injury and third-party claims department. I am the point of contact for legal office assistance and any inquiries on third-party referrals and patientcare. My family is the most important thing to me, and my two elementary-aged kids keep me busy at home.

Business Office Manager

About Natali:

I began working for Dr. Lance Smith in 2021 as a front desk receptionist and biller. I was given the opportunity to take over the front office manager position in 2022 and have enjoyed working more closely with him and his clinic team. I have a Strategic Communications degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and a background in hotel management and sales. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, 2-year-old son, and a beagle named Snoopy! I’ve loved using my skill set in the medical field and am even more excited to grow with Apex Healthcare Partners. I am here to support our staff by executing administrative duties and helping with billing, referrals, contracting, training, compliance, employee relations, and performance management to ensure that our team is always prepared to bring our best daily, as we serve our amazing patients!

Front Office and Referral Specialist

About Marisol:

I have worked in the medical field as a Patient Services Representative for about 8 years. I enjoy working in the administrative side of healthcare to help provide patients with guidance and strive to help patients feel acknowledged, building trust with them. I am fluent in Spanish and find great joy in assisting with translation in the clinic to help support our Spanish-speaking patients. As a Referral Specialist, I ensure that we have any necessary authorizations in place for our new patients who are referred to us from other providers. I try my best to get patients scheduled as soon as we are able to get them in, as I know that starting treatment with a new doctor can be stressful, especially when you are in pain. I strive to make the process as smooth and positive as possible! I have been married to my amazing husband for 11 years. I have two beautiful and wonderful children. My family means the world to me, and I enjoy spending as much time with them as I can.

About Bailey:

I couldn’t be happier to be part of this amazing team and serve our patients at Apex Healthcare Partners. I have worked in the medical field for several years as a phlebotomist and Medical Assistant and am now excited to use my expertise to help support both the Neurology team and render Wellness services. I have been married to my wonderful husband for five years, and we have one little boy. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, either working on our land to get ready for hunting season or taking care of our little farm with all kinds of animals. I really do love getting to know each patient and building a connection with them. I aim to always make sure that our patients are heard and that they feel satisfied with the way they are taken care of.

About Andrew:

I am a pre-med student from Dallas, Texas currently pursuing a neuroscience degree at the University of Oklahoma. Being a member of the Apex Healthcare team has been an incredible blessing, and I am thankful for this invaluable opportunity. It has given me the chance to follow my passion for service while exploring my interest in the healthcare field. Collaborating with Dr. Smith and Joseph enables me to gain comprehensive insights into the inner workings of a medical practice encompassing both clinical and surgical settings that will help prepare me for my journey entering the healthcare field myself. I hope to use the skills and knowledge I learn with Dr. Smith’s team to pursue medical school next fall.

About Sam:

I am a pre-med student at Oklahoma State University and this is my first year interning with Dr. Lance Smith. While I have a few years left of undergrad, it is imperative for me to begin obtaining medical experience , and it is a privilege to join Dr. Smith’s team. Since I have started, I have seen all the positive attributes and qualities any patient would want to see in an outstanding practice. I cannot thank Dr. Smith and his team enough for giving me an opportunity to begin my medical journey and experiencing what first-class care looks like as I look forward to medical school.
